The brackets for the CHSAA Class 1A and 5A postseason tournaments were released Sunday.

Defending 5A champ Mullen brings a 9-0 regular-season record in as the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament. The other top seeds in their regions are Fairview, Pomona and Fort Collins.

The three-time defending 1A champ - Akron - is the No. 2 seed in that postseason tournament, by virtue of the Rams loss to No. 1 seed Yuma. That defeat snapped Akron's 46-game win streak.

All first-round 1A games will be played Nov. 7, while the exact dates and times for all the 5A games have yet to be determined. All 5A matchups will be finalized by Monday.
